On Feb 9, 2022 Samsung introduced its Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked February 2022 event at a price range of $1099.99. Samsung has introduced the power of Ultra in this tablet which will totally revolutionize the tablet industry. So let's check some of the features that Samsung has added in Galaxy Tab S8 and find out whether it is user friendly and revolutionary or not.

1. Body

Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra comes with 5.5mm thickness along with 726gms of weight for Wi-Fi version and 728gms of weight for 5G version. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection along with Armour aluminum frame protection which provide tougher drop and scratch resistance. S8 Ultra includes only nano SIM support. It comes with Graphite color which provide more premium look.

2. Display

Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra includes 14.6 inch, 1848 x 2960 pixels display along with 90% screen to body ratio. The display comes with Super AMOLED, 120Hz with HDR10+ so that you will get smooth experience. The bezels of S8 Ultra tab is 6.3mm which provides the largest display in any Galaxy tab yet and makes multitasking easier.

3. Chipset with OS

Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra includes Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1(4nm) chipset with Octa core (1x3.00 Ghz Cortex-X2 and 3x2.50 Ghz Cortex-A710 and 4x1.80 Ghz Cortex-A510) processor. It also includes Adreno 730 GPU along with Android 12 OS. S8 Ultra also includes One UI 4.1 OS which is easier and faster to use.

4. Camera

The main camera of Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is of 13MP camera for the standard one and 6MP for the ultra wide one. It also includes LED flash, HDR, panorama and Autofocus. For recording videos, it includes 4K recording with 30/60fps and 1080p recording with 30fps. The front camera is a dual camera in which both the standard and ultra wide one are of 12MP with features like HDR. You can also record video of 4K quality with 30/60fps and 1080p recording with 30fps. With dual cameras at the front, you will get best and convenient video calling experience. Also you will get 4K recording on both front and back cameras so that you will get great quality in video recording.

5. Connectivity

Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra comes with both 5G connectivity model and Wi-Fi 802.11 connectivity model so that users have the option to select as per their suitability. You will get Bluetooth 5.2 and GPS along with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS. You will not get NFC connectivity in the device.

6. Battery and Memory

In Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, you will get 11200 mAh non removable battery with fast charging 45W which allows you to charge your tab up to 100% in 82 min.

You will get 6 variants of Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra which are 128GB internal memory along with 8GB of RAM, 256GB internal memory along with 8GB of RAM, 256GB internal memory along with 12GB of RAM, 256GB internal memory along with 16GB of RAM, 512GB internal memory along with 12GB of RAM and 512GB internal memory along with 16GB of RAM. Also there is dedicated micro SDXC card slot available for adding more space up to 1TB.

7. Sound

In Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, you will get Quad stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support which is loud enough for a single room. The 3.5mm headphone jack is not available in the device.

8. Other features

  • Sensors include under display fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass.
  • It includes USB type C 3.2 along with USB On-The-Go feature.
  • By using LumaFusion, you can use your Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra for editing videos.
  • The S-pen latency has been reduced to more than 30% as compared to Galaxy tab S7 series.
  • By using the Book Cover keyboard, you can make your tablet work as a PC which is possible due to Samsung Dex.
